AIVSC  is Second most prestigious camp for air wing cadets, If i am correct.

So let me give you the basics first,

Every directorate has their own team, i believe consisting of 31 SD and 9 SW cadets (no JD JW cadets)

So you have to get selected into your directorates team

for training you should focus on these 3 points

• Drill

AIVSC DRILL TANNING (2018)

Rectify,retry,rectify,retry,rectify,retry. Become the best in your sub unit and then in your unit. Drill is the bedrock of all selections in NCC

• Knowledge

Knowledge about planes, Aeromodeling , physics etc. These are of-course the main topics of NCC air wing. Also knowledge will allow you to score well in your tests conducted by your CO\ANO. Also having these basic concepts already engraved in your head will allow you to build a good rapport with your officers.

• Extra curricular activities

Extra curricular activities, Although not a necessary requirement, may give you an edge over others. Painting will allow you to join the Aeromodeling (stationary) unit while if you yourself do Aeromodeling you will have a great advantage over others
