The Full form of YEP is ( YOUTH EXCHANGE PROGRAM ) this program is organised every year , the delegation for Youth Exchange Program has more than 11 Countries
YEP, The selection for YEP is based on the lines of Best Cadet competition.
While the nominees for BC can be from the final year of NCC or graduation course, cadets sponsored for YEP will not be in the final year of NCC or graduation. This is because cadets selected for YEP during RDC actually proceed to a foreign country only in the next academic year. There is no provision for financing the expenditure of those cadets who cease to be part of NCC any more.
For YEP, a Cadet must pass in all subjects/ tests.

Written Test (GK) 50 marks
Written Test (SS) 100 marks
Drill (150 for BC & 75 for YEP) 150 marks
Firing 150 marks
Personality and Communication Skills 300 marks
DG Interview 100 marks
Participation in RDC Events 50 marks
Total 900
